Investigating the Impact of Daydreaming on Goal Attainment.

Participant Information
My name is Jessica Purvis and I am a psychology student at the Open University. As part of my studies, I am conducting a research project that contributes to my degree. My project explores the relationship between daydreaming and goal-oriented thinking and attainment. My hope is that the findings will help better understand how we might improve productivity and goal achievement. You will be asked questions about how you perceive your progression towards your goals, the types of daydreams you engage in, and how often you daydream.

You have been invited because I am looking for people with experiences of daydreaming.

You will be asked some general questions about whether you daydream and features of your daydreams. You will not be asked about the specific content of your daydreams. The survey should take about 10-15 minutes to complete

Voluntary participation & anonymity.
Participation in the study is entirely voluntary. After you have read this information leaflet please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns: jessica.purvis@ou.ac.uk For the purposes of carrying out this survey the University uses the survey tools provided by Qualtrics with whom the School of Psychology holds an agreement. If you decide to take part, you are free to withdraw without having to give a reason and without negative consequence. As the data collected is anonymous, it will not be possible to withdraw from the study once you have completed the survey as the researcher will not be able to identify you.

How will the data collected in the survey be used?
